The Buffalo nickel is a copper-nickel five-cent piece that was struck by the United States Mint from 1913 to 1938.
Once a humble coin passed hand to hand, now reborn as a talisman of endurance. This pendant is crafted from an original Buffalo nickel—minted in 1930 and worn by time—featuring the noble profile of a Native American on one side and the ghosted outline of a buffalo on the other.
